About Meldreth Village Hall
Meldreth Village Hall is managed by a committee of volunteers who are responsible for the running, maintenance and upkeep of the hall. The hall is a registered charity (264831). We want to ensure Meldreth Village Hall continues to be a well-used vital asset for our community. If you are interested in helping out with the committee in any way please contact us.
Meldreth Village Hall was built in 1972. It was refurbished in the early 1990s, following a fundraising campaign, and re-opened on 18th March 1995. During the summer of 2022, the hall was closed for about six weeks while it underwent extensive refurbishment and redecorating.
Thanks to generous donations from the National Lottery Community Fund, South Cambridgeshire District Council and Meldreth Parish Council the garden was completely transformed in 2023. Renamed 'The King Charles III Coronation Garden' the outdoor space is now a beautiful courtyard with accessible seating, artificial turfed area and playhouse for children.
