About Meldreth Village Hall
Refurbished in 2022, the hall is well equipped and carefully maintained. It offers a range of facilities suitable for almost any event, from small meetings and parties to larger social gatherings, including weddings and theatrical performances.
At the heart of the community
Meldreth Village Hall has been an important part of village life since 1973, providing a welcoming home for a wide range of groups and organisations. It offers a comfortable, flexible space for both community activities and private events.
As a registered charity (Charity Number 264831), the hall is managed by a dedicated team of local volunteers who work hard to ensure this much-loved community asset is well maintained. Following a complete rebuild in the mid-1990s, successive teams of trustees have continued to invest their time and energy into upgrading the hall so it meets the evolving needs of the community.
Today, the hall is a busy and well-used facility, hosting a variety of regular activities.
These include table tennis, a baby and toddler ‘stay and play’ group, community support groups such as dementia support, fitness classes, and a community choir - check our our What's On page. The hall also hosts the annual village meeting, organised by the Parish Council, as well as local and national elections and occasional public consultations and exhibitions.
