Hire Fees
Meldreth Village Hall is available for hire throughout the week, offering a flexible and well-equipped space for a wide range of events. The hall can be booked Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 10:30pm, Friday and Saturday until 11:45pm, and Sunday until 10:00pm.

What's included
The hire rate for the Main Hall includes use of the kitchen, with crockery, cutlery and glassware provided, as well as full use of the cooking facilities. For the QEII meeting room use of the kitchen is dependent on activities in the Main Hall (the meeting room has a self-contained kitchenette suitable for providing hot drinks etc). Tables and chairs (see Facilities) are also included.
Hire Period
The minimum hire period is 1 hour during the week and 3 hours at weekends. If you require a shorter hire period, please contact us.
Hirers are charged from the time of entry to the time the hall is vacated. Please ensure sufficient time is allowed for setting up before your event, and for clearing and cleaning afterwards. For events finishing later in the evening, hirers and their helpers may remain on-site until 12:30am to complete cleaning and pack away.

Weddings & All-day Hire
We welcome bookings for wedding receptions and all-day events. Our wedding and all-day hire package offers exclusive use of the venue from 12:00 noon on Friday to 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Deposits
Depending on the size and type of event, a refundable security deposit may be required to confirm your booking. This deposit covers any damage to the hall or if it is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Please see more on our Policies page.
Deposits will be refunded within 7 days of the end of the hire period, provided that all terms and conditions of hire have been met.
